Experiencing something NEW always makes wonders to someone who has been in a routinary way of life… The feeling of getting away from the usual stuff, habit, or practice… Suddenly, you’ll realize, there are still a lot of things the world has to offer out there… For you to maximize all of these, you just need to STEP UP, make that 1st step, and there you go…
I had a date with a very good friend today… It feels good how we reminisce everything the 1st time we started our bonds together… The long nights of chit-chats… The laughters which could almost take our breaths away… Oh well, it’s been really a while… Now that we have this time for ourselves.. it feels great how we could imagine some brilliant plans of how our “single life” would be moving forward… It’s a fresh start! An invigorating way of dealing with a happy old past bonding that never felt as new each day…
A genuine friendship, i should say… A friendship that will never get old no matter how many decades will pass by..
Well, a fresh start would mean a great deal of plans for a better and improved bonding together… To nurture the friendship… To value the memories… For anyone out there who’s stocked up into something… Maybe a chaotic schedule, a boring gym routine, a complicated relationship, or just simply, a plain lifestyle where everything is a routine, it’s not yet the end of the world… There are a lot of stuffs out there which you could mull over… Perhaps, if you just spend time to give it a shot, you’ll be amazed of how it could create wonders… As a start, recall someone who has been so dear to you that you haven’t spent time for quite a while… someone who could cheer you up… someone who genuinely offers the friendship that you just exactly need for your situation…
Here are some suggestions that you might want to share in your bonding times:
1. Set up a lunch date… At least you could have all the time in the world before all the best tambayans declare the closing time in the midst of your chit-chats….
2. Learn more about each other… Catch up… Start a story… Believe me, you could almost say, it’s like you’ve never heard all of it for 5 years… Being in awe how time passed too fast… Here, the laughter and excitement starts…
3. Plan some activities to nurture the bond…Perhaps, you could set some schedules to sustain the connections.. Maybe a bonding in the gym, a new sport (badminton, boxing), a new date! (in case you’re both single), a new place to visit, an out of town trip.. etc..
4. Appreciate the efforts.. Thank each other… And look forward to more bondings in the future…There is always a boost of happiness in being appreciated. Just make sure, it’s clearly delivered to whoever is worthy to receive it…
Oh well, it’s been a while… And yet, a day is more than enough to catch up… Maybe that’s the magic right there.. =)
